An introduction to 2D, needle felting applique. This lovely sheep placemat is a great way to learn needle felting and how to use different gauge needles. These adorable, well-behaved sheep allow beginners to make some mistakes, but still end up with fluffy, cuddly sheep. 
 
Kit includes:
2 felting needles (38 star & 40 triangle)
1 5x5 inch dense foam pad
Wool to felt 1 or more sets of sheep, including locks and colored batting (varies)
1 approximately 17x13 inch piece of flannel (color varies)
1 iron-on sheep trio transfer
"How to Needle Felt" instructions
Detailed step-by-step project instructions with color photos
